Cove Fort

Shane and I took a weekend to enjoy Cedar City, the kind of weekend where you leave the kiddo with family and enjoy a childless 48 hours :)

One our way back we took the time to stop at some hidden church site off the I-15. It was called Cove Fort, I had never heard of it and didn't know anything about it. The tour was great, and the fort was impressive! I'd suggest anybody traveling that way to stop and take a look.
the area was beautiful

Outside the fort walls

One of the massive doors

100+ year old trees, plus if you look closely you can see they took shoots from these old giants and planted the next generation.

Awesome stove, right?!

This is the biggest cabbage I've ever seen.

The old work shop

I asked Shane to stand by this old drill press because I knew somewhere I had a picture similar to it...

...here it is, my Uncle Tom's workshop back in 2008
