New Job, More Change:

Well Shane applied and was accepted to work for the Utah Highway Patrol (UHP):

Yes we are moving back to Salt Lake.
Yes we are leaving in 2-4 weeks (date still undetermined-yes that drives me crazy).
Yes we are leaving our house to the unknown territory of renters.
Yes we are downsizing for a while.
No, I'm not thrilled about leaving my beautiful house and quiet yard to live in 800 sq ft of paper-thin walls again.
No we won't be in Salt Lake for long, it will be the transition period before Shane is stationed in St. George.
Yes, as of right now we plan on retiring from St. George with this company.
Yes Shane will become a Police Officer complete with uniform and gun.
No he doesn't plan on being an on-ground-officer more than the Academy makes him. He lives to fly-period.
Yes working for UHP means working for the Government (which can be both good and bad).

Spring Time Bliss:

 Just enjoying life here in Vegas before it's too late. The rumor mill has started and fact is we will be moving (more on that later).

Race Day: Chasing Down a Leprechaun

Well I am proud to say I actually did my race. It was a cold, windy, and blustery day and I wasn't sure I would make it but I did.

I'm not one for public anything events, but in-spite of any insecurities or uncertainties I finished something I said I would do-and that means a lot for me.

Crafts

This is my new embossing machine. My sweet hubby was kind enough to bring it home for me-I love it. 

Well Emma does too, and it's right up her ally, she can do crafts with Mommy without getting in the way too involved. I don't let her play with the embossing folders yet because it's too likely she will pinch her fingers in the roller, but she feels like such a big girl when she gets to help me with 'Craff-es'.

Singing in the Rain

Shane was ever so kind to wash and wax my car last week, naturally it rained the next day. However, this post is not about the rain but about Emma playing and splashing in the hose water with her cute umbrella:
