Lets Go Surf'n Now, Everybody learn'n how...

Going Swimming: do-do,

Shane and I took Emma swimming the other day but the water was still a little cold. Remember: it may be 86 degrees outside but that's barely Spring weather around here. Heating the pools is OUT OF THE QUESTION.

What a work out just getting everybody ready: we had to blow up the pool toy, find sunscreen, swimsuits, and towels. Get sunscreen on, find hats or sunglasses and load up the stroller. It was close to Emma's lunch time so naturally we had to get a bottle ready and than we finally made it outside.

Once we finally got out the door and at the water's edge Emma seemed leery and needed some convincing. She LOVES her sea turtle when we are in the house but seemed confused about how the turtle was bobbing in the water.
Shane stuck her in the water up to her thighs and the poor princess lost it! It was time to go home.
I guess we will have to try another day.

  2. I've come to appreciate catching a sad face on camera more and more with each new addition to our family. They are funny memories down the road of life's experiences! I'm betting little Emma will be loving the water by the end of the summer! Despite the tedious task of lathering up, may you have many HAPPY memories in the pool!
