Remodeling

Remodeling in a home always takes longer, cost more, and pushes your limits more than you anticipate. We bought this house because it was affordable and met our families needs, and when I say affordable I mean it's a dumb.

However, one of my favorite qualities in my husband is his ability to see something for what it can BECOME not what it currently is-such as this house. He's been applying his mad skills to our master bathroom whenever he has a spare moment (which is incredibly rare).

Before the move from SLC to CC probably the top mentioned reason for continuing through the stress was two bathrooms. That's two toilets people-BIG DEAL. I didn't have to share my space all the time with Emma: no potty chair, no sharing make-up brushes, no toothpaste in the sink, no long waits when you've had too much orange juice in the morning, no bath toys everywhere...

The moment we got to CC (I mean before I even unpacked my socks and knickerbockers) we demolished the existing master bathroom and have gone to work, but I don't have mad skills like my hubby and he is working ALL.THE.TIME. That means I've been down to one toilet the moment we moved, one toilet when two was the reason I moved in the first place!

Alas, I decided to post a couple of pictures of our current progress to remind myself of how awesome my bathroom makeover will be: Think quiet, calm, kid-free, and ocean get-away

  2. I can't wait to see it done! The cabinets look awesome and the color is great! You forgot to mention that you are the one undertaking the whole painting part, that's huge!
    LOVE YA!
