Well we made it Love, yesterday was our 5th wedding anniversary. We both agreed that celebrating was out of the question this year both financially and time wise. I'd say that the past five years have been full of these two problems and we anticipate the next 5 years to be the same. We consider ourselves very blessed however, and have learned our strong point through the hard times is to laugh together.

Now, 5 things I love about you:
1. I love your work ethic, you are so handsome covered in grease, dirt, plant debris etc.

3. You are a good listener: you are literal and logical; my emotional rants don't make sense to you but you try to understand anyway.
4. You are a great father to our kids. I love you more and more when you are sympathetic, kind, and playful with our children.
5. Oh you are funny. I love when you make me laugh.

Five things I've learned about you:
1. You're a ditty master! We still sing jingles that you randomly made up from 5 years ago.
2. You're obsessed with juice.
3. Nobody likes things in their eyes, but you are overly sensitive to things in your eyes.
4. If you're going to do something you like to do it right, no jimmy-rigging, and it better only take once!
5. There will never be a wrong time to make a batch of chocolate chip cookies for you.

Five things you should know (if you don't already) about me:
- I have strong obsessive compulsive tendencies, like not having things on/in my hands (water, dirt, bits of food, slobber, hairs, grease, bags of groceries, toys etc.)
- I love word definitions.
- I have a good sense of cost and price, it comes with the obsession of saving money
- I don’t like clutter: counters, table tops, and ledges should be clean and organized.
- Costco is my favorite store, sometimes the kids and I would “go to costco” to walk around and window shop vs. “go to the park”

CONFESSION:
I warned Shane for a solid week not to step on my dress (because it was the size of China). Well we were in the foyer, waiting to enter the reception when announced as Mr. and Mrs. Shane Oldfield. Just as we entered the reception hall, the dirty deed of stepping on my dress was done. It popped a button off of the train and I gave Shane the evil eye. Here Shane is telling me: "Smile, everybody is watching."
Needless to say, this picture doesn't hang on the wall of my home!
