I Wanna Live Where the Green Grass Grows:

Yesterday was a special day in the Oldfield house. Not only is the yard showing great promise with the grass popping up everywhere, but we welcomed the newest addition to our family-our kitchen table.

Yes we mourn the loss of open space but now our house is one step closer to feeling complete!

I Want to Speak to You:

Emma's obsessed with Dora the Explorer. Personally I find the show a little obnoxious and loud, but Emma really enjoys the fascinating plots, realistic events, and character development, not to mention the bilingual education.

All in all the show has motivated her to practice more words. Emma's top 5 favorite words:

1. Milk 'mil, mil'
2. Backpack 'pac pac'
3. Food 'foo'
4. Daddy 'daaee'
5. Grandpa 'pa pa'
She tends to zone out.

Spring is in the Air:

Shane's hard work is really paying off, months and months of hard work and baby grass is starting to show. Plus some spring color to dress up the desert we live in:

If you want to Destroy my Sweater:

Ok so the line for gasoline at Costco is gross, changing endless diapers everyday for over a year is sick, and letting your 18 month old practice brushing YOUR teeth with HER old toothbrush (who knows where it's been) is disgusting, but this...wow there is no word for this:

A Happy Working SONG:

We'll keep singing without fail
Otherwise we'd spoil it
Hosing down the garbage pail
And scrubbing up the toilet
Ooh!

Food for thought, happy Thursday everybody.

Day 28: The Future

Emma's potential is wide open. I couldn't be happier with how she has added to our little family. I feel so blessed.

Day 27: What They Say

Yay for MILK!
